We believe scripture is best learned and applied when it is engaged with — which is why rather than sermons or lectures, we do weekly discussions.

Throughout the discussion time, we ask questions that help you reflect on the topic and apply it to your life. You also have the opportunity to ask questions and give input as well. It helps us grow together.

Not at all. We invite students of any faith and religious background to come to Ignite.

That’s okay – we have one for you! Just grab one off the table when you walk in. If you want one after coming to Ignite, feel free to take it back with you.

If you’d like to get involved in Ignite, simply talk to one of the leaders at a group gathering, and we’ll get you connected.

Opportunities include:

• Singing / playing an instruments in the worship team
• Leading a Bible study
• Leading an opening game

• Planning community service events
• Room set up / clean up
• Graphic design
• Video production

We have a number of other ways you can be involved with Ignite — from small groups meeting throughout the week to our Fuel monthly large group to retreat and mission trips, social events, and more.

Join the Facebook group and let us know you can’t make Wednesday nights, and we’ll get you hooked in!

We have found that most students at Carl Sandburg College work in the evenings, so our Ignite Sandburg group meets during lunch time.

Students are welcome to attend the Ignite Monmouth large group to experience a longer group with worship and more fun activities.
