Description: Ignite seeks a dynamic, self-starter to organize, provide direction, and develop strategies to grow the Ignite group at Monmouth College.

Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

• Implement and oversee the Ignite group at a specific college
• Develop vision, strategy, support, and development to grow Ignite at a specific college
• Mentor student leaders in order to obtain results and growth
• Develop and implement discipleship strategy to help students grow in their faith
• Plan and implement on-campus outreach events
• Build relationships with local churches, community leaders, and college staff
• Develop an annual budget and manage spending to budget
• Work with staff team and Ignite Board to advance the ministry and knowledge of Ignite
• Coordinate bi-yearly regional retreats
• Develop network of volunteers
• Provide training to student leaders
• Recruit and lead college students on Ignite mission trips
• Speak / preach at regional retreats, local churches, and other opportunities that may arise

Qualifications:

• Passion for college students
• 4-year Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1+ years’ demonstrated ministry leadership experience with youth or college preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong delegation skills; mobilizes others to fulfill the vision
• Strong volunteer supervisory skills
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook
• Agree with and abide by the Ignite Staff Code of Conducts

• Mentor leadership coaches in order to obtain results and growth
• Build relationships with local churches and community leaders
• Develop an annual budget and manage spending to budget
• Work with staff team and Ignite Board to advance the ministry and knowledge of Ignite

• Develop and maintain an efficient donation system including contact lists, donation requests, and thank you responses to donors
• Organize and maintain all tax documents throughout the year and ensure proper completion of both federal and state tax forms
• Build relationships with local churches and community leaders
• Help coordinate bi-yearly regional retreats
• Manage mission trip and retreat funds
• Reports to Regional Director and Ignite Board
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Passion for college students
• 4-year Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3+ years’ demonstrated financial leadership within a nonprofit organization
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong financial and accounting skills
• Demonstrated experience with accounting software
