Jason Vana went to Monmouth College, where he graduated in 2002 with a degree in Business Administration, English Literature and Public Communications. It was while he was in college that Jason first came to Christ and felt the call to work with college students.

After graduating, he moved to Monmouth and pioneered a dynamic ministry at his alma mater called Covenant Groups, focusing on helping students build deeper relationships with God and each other. During this time, Jason went on his first mission trip to Europe and fell in love. He’s been back every year since – bringing mission teams, providing leadership training and igniting young people to see God come and transform their nation.

In 2010, Jason merged Covenant Groups with another campus ministry to form Ignite Student Ministries, a recognized non-profit that exists to ignite the next generation of leaders to impact the world for Christ. He currently serves as Ignite Founder and President of the Board of Directors, providing leadership training, developing resources, planning mission trips, and planting ministry groups around the world.
